Educational requirement for this job is a Bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree. This job is actually a combination of conventional marketing and managerial skills with sufficient know-how of web based computer applications. The compensation for this ecommerce employment in terms of the median income is at $85,000 and above which is very attractive especially for qualified and experienced jobseekers. Those people with excellent proven track records in marketing and sales could earn up to $100,000 a year plus added bonuses, benefits, retirement plans, overtime pay, and much more. The outlook for this job is brilliant since companies everywhere is taking advantage of the e-commerce fever. Almost all kinds of businesses be it restaurants, hotels, retail stores, manufacturing firms, industrial companies, tourism, online publications, and so much more are offering e-commerce jobs.

Other ecommerce employment includes opportunities for article and technical writers, java engineers, editors, web developers, computer specialists, and applications solutions experts. These jobs help the businesses in sales and profitability plans. A degree in web developing and software application courses will be necessary for some of these e-commerce job as well as other academic trainings and experience. Java engineers may be required to have a degree in information technology and vast knowledge in java and other programming languages while writers need to be a college graduate with experience in journalism or article writing.
