Job DescriptionMULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Serve as a key member of the Sales, Advertising, & Account Management to drive market, sales, revenue growth, and volume purchases for Amazon Web Services/Elemental Technologies involving software-defined video solutions for broadcasting companies, pay-tv companies, and multiscreen content delivery within the Central American, Mexico and Caribbean regions as well as headquarters of Latin American companies established in South Florida. Ability to understand the cultural differences and idiosyncrasies from different countries and able to fluently communicate on the major local languages across the region is desirable. Own and project manage business development activities, including working with various internal stakeholders and cross geographical sales teams by targeting specific market segments, building operational/financial models, and driving target market solutions for the delivery of forecasted sales numbers. Identify, cultivate and increase adoption of company as industry leader in Media and Entertainment, Broadcast, and Service Provider by delivering business and sales strategies and engaging with targeted customers to ensure successful utilization of video processing and availability of technical resources. Enable the sales teams by developing knowledge of key AWS Elemental Technologies services and solutions, driving sales team enablement around those technologies, and analyzing metrics from the business to help guide decision making and status reporting. Establish relationships with key customers, recognize the decision-making chain, and utilize available sales tools to close large opportunities. Identify and establish reseller channel partnerships as well as relationships with key technology partners to generate leads and additional sales channels in all major markets within the mentioned region. Identify and participate in key industry trade shows across the region. Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses. Help drive and prioritize product requirements based on customer insight. Analyze sales statistics and project pipeline to determine growth potential. Work with Systems and Support Engineers to analyze customer needs, craft and present solutions. Cooperate with team peers on cross-regional projects. Provide timely and accurate sales reporting and forecasts. Work closely with the product/service teams to help them research and address issues, concerns, and customer requests. Previously established contacts and relations with major providers in the TV segment and communications groups such as Carso/America Movil, Millicom, Digicel, Televisa, Salinas, Telefónica and its respective subsidiaries across the region is desirable. Requires 50% domestic and international travel (LATAM, Caribbean, Mexico and Florida) to support business development for assigned regions and up to 20% domestic travel to internal offices and industry/trade show events.
Basic QualificationsPrimary Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Business Administration/Management, or related field Experience: 5 years of experience in the position offered or related experience as a Sales Executive, Project Manager, or related occupation.
