Herschend Family Entertainment (HFE) is seeking a passionate marketing team member to join us in our mission of Creating Memories Worth Repeating® supporting our theme parks, aquariums and attractions across the United States. The Manager, eCommerce
plays a critical role in achieving revenue and attendance goals at our properties by overseeing the design, development, implementation and on-going operation & optimization of the eCommerce platform.
This full-time role will work from our property support center in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, and reports to the Director of Marketing Technology. The Manager of eCommerce is responsible for ensuring that the online sales channel at each HFE property is fully integrated with other media and web content to maximize conversion and revenue. The role currently does not have any direct reports, but does have indirect reports on the Marketing Technology team. The Manager, eCommerce will consult/advise each property marketing team on channel strategies and tactics and assist in measuring the success of programs and promotions.
The role would have some travel, averaging 1-2 days per month. Working remotely or telecommuting is permissible, but the majority of the time should be spent in office collaborating with the Marketing Technology team. Experience with Sitecore (or similar Content Management Systems) and multiple eCommerce platforms is strongly desired.
Position Roles & Responsibilities
Leads eCommerce strategy and execution.
Subject Matter Expert for eCommerce platform and primary liaison with outside vendor for on-going support and enhancements.
Recommend and coordinate personalization and dynamic content strategies for each property
Collaborate with Hospitality team for lodging packaging & bundles
Develop, execute and analyze multi-variant testing plans and results
Coordinate remarketing and cart abandonment strategies.
Work in tandem with other teams to ensure Master Account structure and integration with other channels (e.g. mobile app)
Leverage data and analytics to improve purchase path and optimize revenue
Work collaboratively with internal Technology Solutions Group resources, internal Ticket Admin team, as well as third party/external partners on integrations and product catalog needs.
Monitor direct competitors as well as other tourism and leisure activity companies to stay abreast of trends, promotions and new opportunities
4-year Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, communications or digital.
At least 5 years experience in marketing technology or eCommerce management and execution.
Strong marketing analytics skills.
Experience in attractions or other ticketed events/festivals helpful.
Demonstrated leadership in advertising and communications.
