Our interactive lessons, award-winning videos, and hands-on activities are designed for classroom, homes, and community settings are delivered via mobile devices, online, and in print. We aim to enable our audiences to expand their knowledge, improve their skills, and enrich their lives. We are a partner with PBS in PBS LearningMedia (u003CA href=****target=_blanku003Epbslearningmedia.orgu003C/Au003E), a digital resources service/platform for PreK-12 education, with over a million monthly users and tens of thousands of free digital learning resources. We also work with WGBH brands such as Arthur, Design Squad Global, NOVA, and Frontline (among others) to develop, produce, and disseminate content for formal learning and community educational settings.u003C/divu003Eu003Cdivu003Eu003Cstrongu003EPosition Overviewu003C/strongu003Eu003C/divu003Eu003Cdivu003EWGBH Education seeks a motivated, detail-oriented individual with both digital marketing and educational outreach experience for the position of Digital Marketing Specialist. This position reports to the Director of Marketing, and will be devoted to digital marketing, with a focus on email marketing and social media promotion, for various WGBH programs, such as PEEP and the Big Wide World, PLUM Landing, High School Quiz Show, an upcoming project on early computational thinking skills for young learners, as well as other projects as assigned. This includes planning, writing, scheduling, assessing, and reporting on social media and other digital marketing promotions to align with project goals and events. Candidates from underrepresented groups especially encouraged to apply. u003CBRu003EIn addition, this position will be responsible for communications with High School Quiz teams throughout the quiz season, coordinating the High School Quiz Super Sunday event, and coordinating other teacher- and student-facing educational outreach and engagement events for the Education department. u003CBRu003Eu003CBRu003EEssential Functions u003CBRu003E* 20% - Promotion of PEEP and the Big Wide World on Social Media channels and email marketing; coordination with PEEP Outreach manager and rest of the PEEP team to support initiatives. u003CBRu003E* 20% - Promotion of PLUM Landing on Social Media channels and with email marketing; coordination with PLUM Outreach manager and rest of PLUM team to support initiatives. u003CBRu003E* 20% - Recruiting and support of High School Quiz teams via email and outreach. Coordination of Super Sunday event. u003CBRu003E* 15% - Promotion of Computational Thinking (CT) on Social Media channels and with email marketing; coordination with CT Outreach manager and rest of the CT team to support initiatives. u003CBRu003E* 15% - Coordination and support of student- and teacher-facing events for the education department, including virtual events, in-house meetings, and conference activities. Assist with email and social media promotion of other education properties as required. u003CBRu003E* 5% - Data analysis and reporting on traffic performance and overall campaign effectiveness.
