The Social Media Program Manager is responsible for the oversight of paid advertising, public relations and facility communication efforts across all social media channels and local business listings. In addition to supervising multiple agency partnerships responsible for maintaining our official social media accounts and local business listings, this individual will also develop, execute, optimize, measure and report on the impact of paid social media advertising campaigns. The social media program manager ensures that paid media campaigns across all social channels align with business objectives and brand guidelines, and optimizes them for efficiency and effectiveness, manages budgets for optimum efficiency, and conducts aggressive testing of messaging, offers and creative treatments to reach optimum effectiveness as measured by key performance indicators. This individual manages external partnerships and guides internal stakeholders to follow best practices with regard to public relations and community management. It is critical that the social media program manager act as a subject matter expert for the organization to ensure that the facility stays well informed of trends and developments in social media and local business listings and takes action that furthers our strategic objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, PR, journalism or other related degree
Seven years’ experience in marketing or related field, of which five years must be in managing and optimizing paid digital advertising campaigns, three years in conducting A/B tests, and at least one year running paid campaigns on social media

Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations.
Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language necessary to perform the essential functions of this job, especially with regard to activities impacting patient or employee safety or security.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and application of positive language principles.
Deep knowledge of social media channels, particularly Facebook.
Strong command of best practices around conversion optimization for digital ad campaigns.
Ability to convey complex ideas in creative, easy-to-understand ways in writing.
Excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable interviewing personnel at all levels.
Must possess detailed knowledge and understanding of social media sites.
Requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
