ASG, which is a division of Jergens, Inc. is proud to have recently received their new title as an RIA (Robotics Industry Association) Certified Robot Integrator as the next step in ASG's mission to continuously improve products, processes and services. We are looking to add to our team with this E-commerce Specialist position.
Under general supervision, the E-commerce Specialist is responsible for implementing the company's overall B2B/E-commerce strategy and programs to support the growth of the company's products and services on the Internet. Must be extremely proficient and experienced in all technical facets of developing and running a successful B2B/E-business initiative on various platforms. Specific hand's-on experience building out and managing the B2B related functions of: Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Results Page (SERP), Web Traffic Analytics, Paid Search Programs, IT/ERP Relationships and all E-Marketing Campaigns. The E-commerce Specialist is fully trained and capable of responding to all but the most unusual E-commerce service issues with a minimal need for direction from the supervisor and can also serve as a mentor by providing training and guidance to less experienced E-commerce specialists. Minimum of five years of experience fully meeting the expectations of an E-commerce Specialist and/or has demonstrated a level of performance and leadership to qualify for the E-commerce Specialist position.
Has a thoroughunderstanding of our company's E-commerce service needs and serves as a resource to less experienced E-commerce specialists on complex issues.
Solid experience with E-commerce analytics and platform tools (IE: Google Analytics, SAP Hybris, IBM WebSphere, etc.)
Works closely with marketing and graphic design staff and helps contribute as needed to all online advertising initiatives and the company's social media strategy including Search Engine Marketing, brand advertising, social media advertising and customer engagement.
Develops, coordinates and executes E-commerce campaigns by providing content messaging, coordinating with team members, managing deadlines, and communicating with key stakeholders.
Recommend viable upgrades or changes to internal systems and E-commerce solutions for products and services
Assess performance metrics including project and campaign analytics, efficiency metrics, brand metrics, customer metrics, and overall return on investment for E-commerce initiatives and make recommendations based on findings.
Perform writing, editing, and proofing of B2B content, social media posts, blogs and online advertising
Compile competitive information
Work with and manage external partners as needed to achieve E-commerce goals
Complete special projects as assigned
Observe good housekeeping and safety habits, follow Jergen's policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
At least two years of formal training in a related field. A bachelor's degree in IT, digital/E-commerce/marketing is preferred. Has the necessary training to be proficient in the position.
Has at least three to five years of experience fully meeting the expectations of an E-commerce specialist, and/or has demonstrated a level of performance and leadership to qualify for the E-commerce Specialist position.
Has a thorough understanding of all B2B activities web metrics, digital analytics, and the ability to analyze data.
Has excellent communications and interpersonal skills to be able to interact effectively with other employees, vendors, customers, and other external contacts
Must have ability to work independently as well as in partnership with a team
Has excellent computer skills and is proficient with all related company systems and programs
Is analytical with an eye for detail.
Is a self-starter and able to work with minimal management input.

Has demonstrated sound judgment in dealing with difficult interpersonal situations
Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
Effective time management skills in prioritizing and addressing multiple and at times conflicting demands
