Reporting into our Growth & Analytics team, The Web Strategy & Analytics role is responsible for monitoring insights on and strategically develop Oportun\u2019s digital web properties. This candidate will also be responsible for developing insights which will help drive site visitors, create deeper site engagement, and improve overall online conversions. Additionally, this role will own the ongoing SEO efforts at Oportun. He/she will work closely with our Marketing, Product and Engineering team in order to iteratively test and optimize Oportun\u2019s website.
The ideal candidate should be highly experienced with insights driven analytics and has a strong desire to work in a fast-paced execution focused environment. The role will also require a strong consumer centric mindset aimed at improving the overall experiences customers have as they interact with Oportun\u2019s digital properties.
Work closely with Risk Analytics, Product Analytics, Marketing, and Product Management teams to identify and improve performance of Oportun\u2019s unauthenticated web presence
Utilize strong analytics skills, business acumen and attention to detail to provide data and analysis to assist in solving complex business problems
Serve as a core analyst and leader in our SEO improvement efforts
Communicate insights and suggest improvements based on data and observed trends in order to develop and advance Oportun\u2019s core unauthenticated web platforms
Propose, implement and measure iterative tests to continuously improve customer engagement and marketing funnel performance
Works with high dimensional and fast-moving data to build continually learning systems and through your work have direct impact on revenue and bottom line
Presents analytic output in order to soundly communicate to stakeholders to inform strategic and tactical decision making and guide business decisions
Communicates insights to executive level leadership and cross-business stakeholders

4 years of experience in Performance Marketing/Web Analytics/Product Analytics
2 years of experience with A/B Testing, Experimentation, and Marketing Personalization
1 years of experience with SEO strongly preferred
Experience and comfortable working with Marketing Technology stacks and platforms strongly preferred (Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Optimizely, Wordpress etc.)
High level of proficiency with SQL and python
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher required
