ABOUT THE ROLE:
Boston Scientific is seeking out an accomplished strategic social marketing professional to effectively advance BSC's presence among key cardiology customer groups on social media. 

Who You Are: A self-motivated and engaged team player with demonstrated experience translating business marketing strategies, into customer-centric, actionable social channel plans.  You bring an innovative mindset to your work, along with the strong ability to nimbly adapt to changing business conditions/plans while simultaneously continuing to be proactive and drive projects to completion. 

The Opportunity: This individual will develop and implement integrated social communications strategies that align with overarching business and franchise objectives across existing and new social media platforms and will be responsible for daily content development and community management of key channels.
 
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY & IMPLEMENTATION

*Crafting proactive strategic social media plans for marketing  *Actively managing campaigns and content for patient and physician campaigns on social media networks: LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, SnapChat, Twitter, etc.
COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP

*Establishing, building and maintaining key internal and external relationships, including cross functional teams, cross divisional teams, corporate stakeholders and other opinion leaders to inform the plans and support the execution/implementation *Leading team in development of sound, strategically relevant social channel strategies, comprised of both direct report responsibilities and influencing key stakeholders without direct reporting authority *Working closely with campaign and digital teams to ensure a cohesive and coordinated, customer-centric plan
SOCIAL LISTENING & TRENDS

*Conducting regular audit and social listening of social media environment and making recommendations based on findings
METRICS & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

*Establishing metrics and regularly optimizing social channel strategies based on results *Evaluating and assessing key BSC competitors' in-market social activities; devising and implementing recommendations that strive towards best-in-class channel plans in the RM space  *Quality System Requirements: In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

*3-5 years communications experience within a corporate or agency environment, preferably in health care, with an avid interest in and demonstrated knowledge of social media. *B.A. in communications, journalism or related field. *Exceptional writer and storyteller, with experience in writing for traditional, online and social media. In-depth understanding of target audiences, expertise in high-impact messaging to broad audiences. *Solid understanding and familiarity with new and emerging social tools and channels. *Fluent with the various platforms' audience creation/targeting capabilities, and ability to execute paid promotions within Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter *Ability to identify the role of social in a larger communications plan, and evaluate performance based on holistic campaign impact *Experience developing and executing strategic communications plans and correlating metrics, utilizing both media relations and social media tactics
 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

*Business acumen and fluency in topical health care news and industry trends. *Ability to distill complex information into compelling and simple terms, with an understanding of public perception and issues as they pertain to the industry and the regulated healthcare environment *Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well within a matrix organization and to influence teams to accomplish common goals and objectives *Thoughtful, strategic and without fear of recommending innovative approaches *Ability to work well under pressure, with demonstrated success at working under deadlines with tight timeframes *Effective relationship building skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment *Experience in working with compliance, legal and regulatory on challenges impacting the company's image and reputation highly desired
