Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
Google’s Sales teams work with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. As the Integrated Solutions (IS) Sector Search Analyst, you will work closely with Product, Sales, and Strategy and Operations to develop and implement a sector-wide search strategy. You will be a strategic advisor and specialist providing data-supported recommendations, practical product consultations, and go-to-market strategies to sellers, clients, and agencies. You are analytical and a product expert who can turn a plan into action. Your scope will include growing the IS Search business.
This is a unique role that will enable you to work closely with IS sales leaders and partner teams to execute a sector-wide search strategy. You’ll partner with sellers across the Finance, Travel, Health Systems and Pharma & Over The Counter (POTC) verticals. You have the opportunity to work on a sector-wide program partner with senior sector leaders and gain broad cross-functional exposure.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build strong businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
Act as a sector-wide search analyst, advocate and product specialist tasked with driving IS search business growth.
Own business functional metric and/or business data visualizations and dashboards.
Provide guidance to Sales teams about how to utilize search products to drive growth and improve client business results, including product optimization and implementation best practices (e.g. extensions) and analytical growth analysis (e.g. audience, attribution, or bidding).
Understand the nuances of business models in order to customize go-to-market plan that solves their core challenges and help sellers align Google Search as that solution.
Develop search measurement best practices and product requests necessary to prove the value of search for brand building clients.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
Experience in advertising sales.
Preferred qualifications:
Extensive experience using search engine marketing to drive business results across an array of business models, including various product optimizations and growth strategies such as audience, attribution, and auto bidding.
Familiarity with website analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics) and brand analysis techniques to conduct account performance, attribution, and audience analysis.
Strong analytical background and experience with marketing analytics, return on investment, and statistical analysis.
Successful track record working with internal, cross functional teams to execute on a go-to-market strategy.
