Our modern, fashion forward products, handmade from ethically sourced and upcycled materials, have become a favorite of more than 400 international retailers ranging from Nordstrom, The Reformation to Marine Layer and endorsed for social impact by the United Nations, USAID, and the World Bank. Our supply chain innovations have enabled us to match marginalized developing world artisan production with real-time global demand for Sokos designs. We currently manage a network of more than 2000 independent artisans through what we call our virtual factory - a mobile phone driven supply chain that coordinates opportunity, production and fulfillment with no centralized point of production or overhead. This results in a model so efficient and affordable that artisans retain an unprecedented 20% of revenue while Soko is able to compete on price and timelines in the mainstream market.
To further expand our business initiatives, we are actively seeking an eCommerce Manager for an unbelievable business development opportunity at our San Francisco HQ. The eCommerce Manager will be a key driver in our ************s goals and objectives as we take the next step to solidify our digital sales strategy in the marketplace.
ONLINE MARKETING MERCHANDISING- 60%
-Create innovative new marketing programs and/or partnerships that generate results for ************ -Identify emerging trends and future opportunities to drive new user growth
-Provide direction and feedback to creative team and gather input from internal partners on online marketing projects
-Responsible for organic traffic development through SEO strategies, email landing page experiences, and all online paid marketing experiences in partnership with the marketing organization
-Collaborates with sales, marketing, design team, merchandising, technical development and operational teams to achieve overall business outcomes.
-Cultivate a rich relationship and understanding with global supply chain stakeholders to empower internal systems and processes, while ensuring production upholds consumer demands
-Online merchandising for the digital product catalog, product feeds, and product attributes.
-Manage ecommerce sales to drive quarterly cross-channel sales targets.
-Reviews website visitor feedback, review, and digital analytics to evaluate and optimize product details such as attributes, imagery, and videos to optimize sales online and traffic into stores
-Develop and synthesize customer insights into frameworks that inform brand strategy and drive key business decisions across product and marketing.
-Translate on-site tests and optimizations into clear and actionable insights through thoughtful data collection, in-depth analysis, sharp observations, smart story-telling, and compelling presentations.
-Be the digital champion for Soko
-Serve as business owner within the organization, collaborating with internal partners to achieve annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly goals.
-Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines, to ensure a quality experience on large and small-scale projects.
-Oversee cross-functional team and key stakeholders to ensure that established project plans are set, approvals are obtained, and programs are completed on-time and on-budget.
-Drive the promotional strategy for the online business, in collaboration with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure profitability of promotions; this includes but is not limited to, the creation of an open-to-buy plan along with supporting cross channel inventory strategies
-Monitor Out of Stock on DTC channels and take measures to improve product availability across the value chain.
-Partner with Customer Support team to understand consumer pain points and work on initiatives to improve the feedback loop throughout the organization
-Create new processes and system changes to optimize ecommerce operations working alongside technology and supply chain teams to implement.
-Manage the success and efficiency of 3PL Distribution Center
-Lead new initiatives cross functionally to fix the operational gaps in DTC fulfillment and within the value chain Monitor operational KPIs like lead times, fulfillment rate, shipping time, etc. to track progress towards operational goals and work on initiatives to improve KPIs.
* 3 years of experience with eCommerce management and digital marketing
* Experience working with lifestyle, fashion, or e-commerce brands
* Strong visual, communication, analytical, and reporting skills
* Experience in growth strategy and execution
* Strong knowledge of Shopify, Google Analytics, and social media advertising
* A can do attitude with the willingness to roll up your sleeves to make things happen
