Who we are looking for:
Wunderman Thompson Health is seeking a Senior Strategist to join the team in our New York. office. The Senior Strategist spearheads the strategy and development for marketing initiatives across all interactive and technology driven applications that meet client marketing and business objectives. The Strategist demonstrates leadership skills, understands key customer and business insights and drives the correct marketing solutions. The Senior Strategist is highly versed in digital, mobile and 360-degree integrated marketing strategies.
What you'll do:
Support and identify Strategy & Insights processes related to client projects and business growth through market planning and key research.
Serve as primary strategic lead for all digital projects to both client and internal teams.
Manage and lead the agency team in all aspects of project development and ensure delivery of high-quality creative work product standards.
Work cross-functionally with clients, technology, creative and project management to deliver on marketing strategy, developing detailed project specifications, manage workload, and providing end-to-end project management.
Develop a set of best practices and recommended rules of engagement for the use of various digital media; document the process, obtain feedback and disseminate across key stakeholder groups.
Review analysis of web/campaign metrics to identify and derive key insights regarding key online customer trends and behavior and recommend strategies to maximize integrated marketing campaign results.
Represent the agency in digital forums, conferences, and articles, as required.
What you'll need:
Experience in search engine marketing, social networking, interactive marketing, and web/campaign analytics ideally in the business to consumer (B2C) marketing arena.
Familiarity with social media sites and how to use them to drive brand awareness, engagement, and traffic to a website/landing pages/social media pages and a strong understanding of social media in relation to broader media mix; understanding of the interplay between online/social media and traditional media.
Strong knowledge of user-generated content, web video, and viral marketing on the web.
An understanding of web/campaign analytics, including usage of various analytics tools and software programs.
An understanding of interactive marketing technologies, including HTML5.
Experience conducting and analyzing digital and web research.
Solid proficiency working with research and data-intensive initiatives, including development and use of spreadsheets.
Ability to present thoughts both verbally and visually through the use of PowerPoint and Word.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to define objectives and work with a team to develop a cohesive strategy that drives campaign and business results.
Able to work on multiple strategic assignments at once.
Passionate and focused on digital marketing and engagement concepts and methodologies and able to speak with credibility and conviction as to how to apply any in particular to a client’s business.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
