Cylance is seeking a Social Media Manager to implement the companys social media strategy, build and manage the companys social media networks, develop brand awareness, communicate the company’s vision and voice in a positive and authentic way, drive engagement with key constituencies, identify new audiences, generate inbound traffic, and encourage product and service adoption. This role coordinates activities across various internal teams in support of the companys initiatives and goals, ensuring consistency in digital voice and presence.
This role includes the day-to-day management of the companys social media networks, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube among others. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for the production and organization of certain digital properties, including but not limited to videos, photos, graphics, and more.
Applicants should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing and understand how to build, grow, engage, and convert a digital audience.
Develop and enact collaborative social media marketing strategies that support company goals and initiatives while driving brand awareness and engagement
Establish, manage, and publish social media editorial calendar
Conduct regular reviews of social media strategies to assess progress through key metrics and KPIs, making adjustments as needed
Build, manage, and grow the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube, as well as potential new channels as appropriate (Snapchat, Instagram)
Create shareable content tailored to specific channels that drives awareness, engages key audiences, and creates organic engagement
Manage day-to-day content dissemination
Stay informed of social media marketing trends and bring them to the attention of internal teams as appropriate
Identify new target audiences and social influencers
Listen and engage in relevant social discussions and conversations
Respond to questions and commentary as appropriate
Manage the companys online reputation
Drive consistent, relevant traffic to the company website to support lead generation and nurturing
Develop content as needed/appropriate
Develop social media promotions and campaigns that:
Support company goals and initiatives, product and service launches, and more
Drive awareness of and traffic to events
Engage with partners and industry influencers
Establish the company as an industry thought leader
Cultivate leads through inbound traffic
Establish effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media marketing programs
Analyze, review, and regularly report on social media marketing benchmarks and the impact of specific marketing promotions
Implement company-wide social media policy, defining guidelines and providing best practices
Work with other marketing teams and IT to ensure social media tools are kept up-to-date
Create an internal social media education program to establish, educate, and drive employee-based adoption of relevant social media techniques into the company’s culture
Manage social media amplification efforts
BA/BS degree with a focus in marketing or communications preferred
Ate least 3-5 years of social media marketing experience across all major social media platforms in a corporate marketing or agency marketing role (experience in a B2B capacity is preferred)
Experience using social media management software, as well as publishing and engagement tools
Excellent written and visual communication skills, with the ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
Ability to identify potential negative or crisis situations and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues, escalating as needed
Resourceful and skilled at online research, SEO, and demand generation marketing
Advanced understanding of web technology and how it supports marketing
Flexible and adaptable self-starter with strong
Must have a passion for your work and an ability to apply that passion to both daily tasks and larger projects
Collaborative and team-oriented attitude with effective problem-solving capabilities
Takes initiative and approaches all tasks and projects proactively
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with little direct supervision
Intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability and a positive approach
The ability to work independently with substantial latitude for action and decision making
while maintaining focus
on achieving optimal outcomes as part of a collaborative development effort
