Responsible for promoting employee productivity and accuracy. Monitor daily activity of all assigned employees. Train new employees and continue training as needed for operations and lift certification. Responsible for optimal work flow and safety of assigned area. Outbound Functions:Coordinate the sorting of packing slips and the loading of those packing slips to the pick carts for effective and quality picking activity.Maintain inventory of all picking and cart related supplies.Process gift card orders and tracking priority orders among the pick carts.Cancel short pieces from an order after the exceptions process is complete.Coordinate the packing of all direct to consumer orders.Maintain and report inventory of all packing supplies to management.Perform all value added services such as gift wrap and priority pack outs.Responsible for packing of exceptions and completing outbound audits.Responsible for reconciliation of all orders by date as directed by supervisor.Responsible for shipping customer orders within defined SLA.Responsible for daily reconciliation of all Shipment Manifests.To coordinate all outbound activity for customer orders and outbound productCommunicate with Ops manager on carrier schedules for given forecasts.Work with Operations Manager to prioritize customer orders; ensuring shipment of all orders by assigned carrier. Inbound Functions:Coordinate all inbound\/put away\/replenishment activity.Receive inbound trailers and containers, UPS, FEDEX and air freight.Communicate with manager and DC 11 team on issues involving cases with discrepancies or no ASN.Complete weight check, Image Check, and if necessary, QA for all inbound shipments.Responsible for task pulls and put way into Reserve and Active according to the slotting plan and batching goals. Inventory Functions:Take lead of all inventory control responsibilities including cycle counts, slotting, exceptions, returns, and other activities as required by manager.Maintain inventory of all supplies and communicating needs to Ops Manager.Cancel short pieces from an order after the exceptions process is complete.Complete and report all adjustments as assigned. Support the Operations Manager in all duties as assigned including all operational areas of the Distribution Center Experience and Skills Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of hand (RF) scanners and experience using WMOS. Use mechanized equipment as needed. Skilled at multi-tasking and able to react quickly to frequent priority shifts. Proficient written and verbal communication skills. Proven leadership ability, developing staff and associates to be high performers. Ability to work a flexible schedule while maintaining a good attendance record. High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year experience, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift cases weighing up to forty pounds. Must have a Valid State issued Drivers License Must be able to stand and work for long periods of time during shift including daily overtime as needed. Must be available to work consecutive days in a row during peak season. Comply with blackout periods as determined by Management. Holiday schedule to be decided by Management.
