About the Role
In this role for Uber Eats, you’ll be working with two key groups: developers and editorial users. You’ll be responsible for liaising with developers to oversee product updates to the global Uber Eats blog, ensuring that the site’s front-end features are optimized for the best UX, content display and distribution. In addition, you’ll also oversee CMS bug fixes and be the point of contact for editorial requests. You’ll set the product vision, serving as the link between editorial and engineering, providing stakeholders with product roadmaps, weekly analytics reports and internal training resources.
Youve created great user-focused nomenclature for navigation systems, clear headings and CTAs that simplify task flows, and memorable microcopy that gets tweeted about. Youve weathered release cycles and can share several shining examples of real work youve shipped, describing what you learned along the way.
When you’re building a content strategy, you think about how it will be consumed. You understand how desktop vs. mobile, print vs. digital, and push vs. pull affects the way people read and retain information. Youre skilled at telling the same story across multiple channels in a way thats integrated yet optimized for every touchpoint.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with developers and designers in a cross-functional team to iterate features on the Uber Eats blog and improve overall product performance
Analyze traffic data and identify opportunities to develop new features that improve user acquisition and extend our content reach on various platforms
Collect and track feedback from global stakeholders including editorial, marketing managers, CRM, social strategy, SEO, product, etc., and prioritize asks based on business KPIs
Work with Global Social and Content team to pilot innovative ways to tell the Uber Eats story across our ecosystem of channels
QA new features and be the point person to track bugs and fixes
Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to share the product vision and roadmap
Train stakeholders on how to use new features
Identify and prioritize efforts most impactful to design and engineering.
Develop new platforms to help Uber Eats engage with consumers and partners
Define and build tools and frameworks that can be largely used by the broader design and engineering team for a variety of needs, e.g., brand portal, confluence pages
What You’ll Need
4 - 6 years of project management experience.
Have proven track record of building brand experiences, acquisition and and marketing websites, ideally at a creative agency
Skilled at evaluating project scope, managing internal resources, managing vendors or contractors with associated budgets
An advanced understanding of the current digital and social media landscape, as well as insight into upcoming trends
Understand ins and outs of CMS tools
Experience using tools like Google Analytics and interpreting reports
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to deal with ambiguity to problem-solve creative new approaches
Familiarity with the creative process, including information architecture and visual design.
Strong analytical skills and an ability to make reasoned decisions with imperfect or ambiguous information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
