Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your key clients. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
As an Analytical Lead, you'll work closely with advertising agencies and clients. You will work as a team member on Google's industry-focused Sales teams exchanging knowledge regarding client and agency needs within specific industry sectors. You'll work with Account Planning and Marketing to optimize integrated, data-driven business opportunities based on internal and external tools analysis. You will also work with Account Management and Account Executives to identify business opportunities, such as keyword expansion, improved account structures and ad text.
The regional Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams partner closely with our major advertising clients and agencies to develop digital solutions that build our clients' businesses and brands. We are in a unique and exciting position to shape how marketing and business is conducted in the digital age. We generate revenue from across Google's broad range of solutions, from Google AdWords, to YouTube, to Mobile, that help our customers connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences and get the most out of the web.
Develop forward thinking, data-driven sales recommendations that align with client marketing objectives.
Quantify opportunities, performance and budget recommendations and present to clients when applicable.
Partner with Sales and Sales Operations to develop and test tools, templates and frameworks to streamline and scale client analyses.
Collaborate with the Agency team to educate and train clients and agencies on how to architect and optimize AdWords campaigns.
Oversee the work of the Account Optimizer to help identify and implement recommendations.
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience working in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
Experience in using search engine marketing, website analytics platforms and brand analysis techniques.
Experience with marketing analytics, return on investment/financial modeling, and statistical analysis.
Experience working with spreadsheet software and presentation applications.
Experience working closely with clients an providing advise on how to optimize their business performance.
Ability to analyze large datasets and break them down into actionable insights.
