eCommerce Operations Manager
The General Motors team is looking for an individual who can thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrate innovative thinking, analyze data and insights at scale, and above all else strategize daily about how to best meet the needs of our customers. The Operations Manager role sits under the broader ecommerce team and is responsible for managing issues escalations related to digital applications, customer orders and customer accounts. In addition, this person will be responsible for performing operational analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement or system enhancements where applicable. A successful candidate will have a mix of business and technical experience, as well as the ability to work well with cross functional partners.
In this role, you will support the business by actively managing and improving our end to end order visibility while improving our ecommerce platform integrity. You will build & analyze reporting to monitor performance health metrics that will validate new features and reduce operational impacts to customer experience.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in GM digital systems and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
Models compliance with company policies and procedures that supports the mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Supports the implementation of business and technical solutions
Solves complex operational problems/issues while being data driven
Triage customer, dealer and application issues
Job Skills & Background Requirements:
7 years of experience in ecommerce operations, ecommerce customer service or related field
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to influence and lead cross functional teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze data and present findings
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Information Technology, or related fields
