Job DescriptionAWS Infrastructure Operations is searching for a bright and ambitious individual to join our team as Supply Chain Manager I. The objective of this role is to lead and manage end to end Seed Stock Project that involves PR creation, and monitor PO creation. Collaborate with internal and external customers (ODM's, Analytics team, regional buyers, and logistics team and Finance) to make sure end to end process is nimble and executed seamlessly, also drive process improvements. The ideal candidate has a solid prior experience in operations, and procurement systems, working with teams remotely, possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, and has strong attention to detail. You must be able to work independently and generate high-quality work products in an ambiguous environment. Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment you will be required to work autonomously taking full control and responsibility for achieving business objectives. This role provides a real opportunity to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever changing business climate.
Basic Qualifications- 5 years experience with purchasing or data analysis, either in professional experience or education. - 5 years experience with Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Access). - 2 years experience with SQL - Ability to work with wide range of people at all decision-making levels. -Ability to work with remote teams- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences- Bachelor's Degree in a Supply Chain Management, Business Management and/or technical field
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in Python will be an advantage, but is not essential for this role. - Experience in infrastructure operations would be an advantage but is not essential. - Experience with e-commerce or retail would be an advantage. - Experience influencing and organizing others, whether in a direct management capacity or through experience managing projects. - A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects - Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills, strong customer focus, the ability to juggle many tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment, and must be a self-starter who is excited about technology · Meets/exceeds Amazon\u2019s leadership principles requirements for this role · Meets/exceeds Amazon\u2019s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer \u2013 Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation
