Description E-Commerce Sales AssistantDepartment: GSD\/E-Commerce Reports to: Sr. National Account Manager \u2013 E-Commerce Summary FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW OF POSITION Acts as business liaison between E-commerce, marketing, logistics, finance and sales to ensure e-E-commerce and .com business growth for new and existing accounts. Review sales and invoices so customer orders are dispatched, invoiced, and paid accurately, on time. Duties and Responsibilities ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS ONLY Answers questions about product, service,price, delivery, submittal status, availability of product, etc Draft salesdocumentation, reports, and correspondence such as sales contracts andmaintenance agreements. Maintainsproper selection and inventory of products for each customer according to PARlevels, account profitability and sales history. Itemmaintenance and \u201cNew\u201d product submission on Vendor Portals. MonitorVendor website reviews and note of any issues and concerns MonitorVendor Portals for chargebacks and discrepancies. Works closely with Marketing to perform onlinecommunications, direct marketing, and marketing research. Troubleshoots technical issues for companyproducts or services Performs order entry, reviews and processesorders, and creates credit requests. Prepares all necessary account and billingreconciliations, and prepares or presents them to manager. Interfaces with Sales Representatives,Account Managers, and internal departments; and assists in resolvingadministrative issues. Identifies delays or problem areas, andsuggests solutions for resolving issues. Make standard calculations to accuratelycompile and report statistics. Perform background research on customeraccounts, prospects, competitors, and industry trends to support the salesteam's activities. Answer internal inquiries and work withCustomer Service Team on product availability, prices, delivery times, and thestatus of orders so that inquiries are dealt with promptly and accurately. Communicate with staff from other areas inthe organization, such as production, warehouse, transport, or distribution, toconfirm the status of orders and ensure accurate inventory levels Use databases or other computerized systemsto maintain current customer records Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities Qualifications Description Education and Experience High School diploma and at least 1 year of E-commerce sales or customer service experience College degree preferred Valid Drivers license Travel Time Limited travel may be required Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
