Our client is all about their members. The Paid Search Specialist will be part of the team responsible for the development, implementation and management of their member acquisition strategies. You will oversee all SEM strategy development, implementation, campaign management, tracking and performance. You will serve as an expert in search engine marketing and should have strong proven experience working with dynamic and complex SEM campaigns. The right person will have a strong passion for delivering quality search traffic to their sites in support of the domestic and international markets where they operate.
They require a data-driven decision-maker with demonstrated strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail. This position will contribute at a very high-level but you must also be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and being in the weeds.
Manage, analyze, optimize, and grow search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns, while following monthly/quarterly budget guidelines. The Specialist will test managing SEM campaigns in house, leveraging optimization tools and external resources to achieve growth targets.
Drive and test new ideas and processes to improve performance of SEM campaigns, including account structure, bidding, and ad copy and keyword development.
Perform detailed analysis to make quantifiable optimization and growth decisions.
Implement and manage additional performance channels (affiliate, LinkedIn, Apple Search,…) to support company aggressive acquisition goals. Specialist will collaborate with internal and external resources to grow and optimize programs, developing dedicated targeting and creative plans.
Collaborate with rest of the Digital team to recommend, implement, and analyze CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) testing to improve core web pages and landing pages performance.
2+ years SEM experience working either in-house or for an agency.
Understanding of marketing approaches to customer acquisition.
Hands-on experience with the following (campaign / bid management, keyword research, optimization and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Optimizely, Marin, etc.) )
Experience working with various test methodologies.
Experience working in an analytic driven environment.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast changing environment with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a cross functional environment.
Ability to identify, prioritize and efficiently manage time to focus on critical tasks.
Advanced proficiency with standard business software (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
3-5 years of experience in a data-driven digital marketing, direct-response environment; membership acquisition marketing experience strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree required
