Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Lead the development, upkeep and continued growth of Medline's E-Commerce properties into specific B2C and B2B markets, by working across all internal Medline divisions to plan and execute product assortment, pricing, and operations.
Become an expert for Medline's go to market deployment into specific E-Commerce channels by understanding our end consumers through data, research, site and traffic analytics, and sales volume growth.
Utilize sales reps and E-Commerce to achieve growth objectives.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the online storefront of 2 Medline properties including promotions, test and learn continuous improvement, product pricing, content personalization, and other store level details.
Partner with product divisions to ensure that the right assortment from each division is available on the site and that gaps in the assortment are identified for sourcing and partnership opportunities.
Based on a thorough understanding of the market and in collaboration with both sales and product divisions, ensure proper pricing is executed online and through the sales force to maximize customer lifetime value.
Identify and prioritize market growth opportunities to achieve sales and margin growth targets based on acquired insights.
Conduct effective market research and competitive analyses and translate that research into content, new products, new programs, and product improvements by providing leadership and execution to a multi-functional team.
Develop revenue, cost of goods, and expense forecasts; ensure that all forecasts are supported with appropriate execution/staffing plans.
Generate reports and analytic-based insights from E-Commerce and overall business generated data including managing the implementation of a tagging strategy in collaboration with IT and the technical implementation partner.
May negotiate pricing with product vendors for materials and finished goods in conjunction with Medline division partners and with marketing and IT partners for software and professional services. Partner with vendors on innovation, development, and supply chain activities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree.
Relevant Work Experience
At least 5 years experience in E-Commerce store management and/or product management.
Experience negotiating with outside vendors and internal resources including negotiating contracts, prices, product assortment, resolving service issues and reconciling differences.
Experience collecting and analyzing E-Commerce and financial data, to translate into increased sales and revenue.
Experience managing an E-Commerce capability focused on B2C market
Additional
Experience and skills in influencing, coordinating and working with individuals in multiple functional areas.
Experience presenting to and communicating with various audiences (ex. sales reps, sales leadership, division leadership, and executives).
Experience taking the steps to ensure the assignment/ project is accomplished within tight timeframes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in healthcare or direct to consumer retail market
