I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
Shop Nation's Commerce Network is looking for a talented, detail-oriented, self-starter to join our Online Merchandising team. The Online Merchandising Manager will be responsible for the product presentation on the category pages on our various shopping sites. Daily tasks involve the ability to quickly and accurately identify brands and products targeted to women shoppers (women's fashion, home decor, etc.) and ensure proper placement on our sites.
II. Essential Job Functions
Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results
Manage website audits to ensure correct product categorization
Analyze product performance on site and work to optimize product categories
Understand basic data analysis and make suggestions to improve performance
Utilize our admin tools to classify products, brands and stores
Add/Remove categories based on seasonal patterns and expansion
Ensure quality standards and procedures are maintained
Understand the demographics and buying motivations of our customers
Comfortable working on a computer
Excel reporting and analytical skills
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
College Degree or equivalent education or experience.
Prior experience in e-commerce marketing, beneficial
Minimum 3 years' experience in a directly related field. Prior experience in online or e- commerce marketing analysis beneficial.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and Excel
Exceptional attention to detail, accurate, and organized.
Must demonstrate high level of initiative and resourcefulness
Work well under pressure, handle multiple and competing priorities and meet deadlines
Team oriented with the ability to work independently
