Senior Digital Analytics Specialist','1719203','','Cox Automotive','!*!The Senior Digital Analytics Specialist is responsible for supporting and helping to develop analytics solutions to support Autotrader Product strategies. The Specialist will be responsible for querying, monitoring and analyzing data to help answer key business questions, interpret performance and provide insights.
Primary responsibilities and essential functions:
Access, prepare, interpret and analyze test and performance data
Deliver findings and insights to answer and/or raise business decision-questions
Ensure accuracy and validity of A/B and multivariate test results
Combine multiple, disparate data sources into insightful recommendations and analysis
Write queries (SQL, SAS, R) to develop analyses and build reports
Help define data-related requirements, requests and concerns for various projects
Coordinate tagging and data feed updates for various projects
Provide ad hoc scenario analysis in support of company initiatives or projects
Coordinate with others in Analytics to ensure best practices are followed and new findings are shared with others who can benefit from the knowledge
Demonstrated ability to execute full-service analyses, from hypothesis to delivery
Strong analytical skills with understanding of statistics
Effective communication skills and an ability to partner with both technical and non-technical teams to drive analytics solutions
Ability to complete concurrent projects of varying size and complexity
Experience explaining data and insights in a way that's most relevant for a given audience
Experience conducting A/B and multivariate testing
Experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics (formerly Site Catalyst)
Demonstrated experience with Microstrategy, IBM Netezza, Python and/or Oracle, Hadoop/AWS
Advanced knowledge of SQL, SAS, MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and Visio
Experience working with multiple, disparate data sources, including: Oracle, flat data files, and web-based interfaces
Data visualization skills are a plus
Experience within a matrix organization (in an analytics capacity) is a plus
Experience with ecommerce analytics is a plus
Minimum 3-5 years of experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis
B.A. or B.S in Mathematics, Statistics, Research, Engineering or Business; MBA preferred
