Thrift Store Detour is one of T-Rex’s newest community outreach projects. It is an online thrift store that sells clothing items. As a new entity, we are aiming to build a premium website, selling gently, used, quality items for the everyday consumer. If you are a passionate, self-starter, goal- and detail-oriented individual, then this may be the position for you.
Ensure proper packaging, prompt and correct delivery of products sold
Manage returned items, if necessary
Take and edit pictures with a digital camera
Write descriptions of clothing items and post documents to a website
Handle tasks with meticulous detail and patience (i.e. tagging items, taking pictures, completing inventory log, folding clothes)
Provide customer service by professionally responding to emails
Complete other tasks as assigned
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite and the internet)
Strong written and oral communications skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Marketing or advertising experience
Social media experience
Experience using a digital camera, including editing photos
